Yet another childhood find that I dove back into! This book is a funny collection of why girls are awesome and how we can be the best at everything! It's comedic yet also totally awesome and gives some amusing tips. How to dive off a high dive, how to press flowers, how to make a drum and other amusing activities and ideas are packed into this book. If you're looking for something creative and amusing, this book is for you!

It's a great book for middle grade readers. It's something unique to pick up.

The first in a series that my 8yr old daughter adores, full of little projects, how to do things, cooking, beauty tips, friendship tips etc. Some people will complain that it's reinforcing traditional stereotypes, but they're taking it too seriously. We all need to learn to cook, sewing etc is a very useful skill. The light-hearted approach to the other topics is all about looking at things in a positive yet fun way.

The following volumes in the series all follow the same pattern. There is a corresponding series for boys, plus loads of other novelty spin-offs for grown-ups which appear a bit silly - keep the format for the kids I say.… (más)
