This book begins with a treatment of definitions and historical frameworks and then moves to a very valuable look at context, motivations and facilitating factors for terrorism. The third section deals with ideologies and strategies of terrorist groups and the book concludes with a few chapters dealing with the worst weapons of terrorism (WMD/CBRN, suicide bombing etc.).
I look forward to reading his next book on countering terrorism. He mentions it in the concluding chapter of this book. If it is as well done as the Terrorism Lectures then it will end up in my personal library for sure.… (más)
