Simple text and colorful illustrations compare the differences between dogs and cats. Preschoolers-Kindergarten will enjoy this.
Are you a dog person or a cat person? In this book, the narrator has both a dog and cat. The simple story told in single sentences shows the difference in the personality and behaviour of cats and dogs. Even though they have many differences, they also have similarities. Bold bright drawings add to the draw of this story to young children. You can also use this book to discuss the differences in people that can still be friends even though they do not like and/or do the same things.

The author talks to the reader explaining the differences of her dog and cat. Very simple sentences that are good for young readers. The illlustrations are very simple. In fact, the author is an artist so it doesn't surprise me that the words are as simple as they are.
