Vivienne Flesher

Upon first glance Vivienne Flesher's book "Alfred's Nose" looks like quite a fantastic story. The front cover has an adorable close-up photograph of a dog's nose and tongue. All of the picture inside are real-life pictures and this makes for an interesting flip through. I wasn't impressed with the storyline however. As an animla lover I kind of felt sorry for Alfred throughout the story. It didn't seem that he liked to be dressed up in halloween costumes or have different snouts on his face. I was left with s sense of sadness and a longing to have Alfred at my house where he could be free of the cruelty of costumes.… (más)
