History, tasting notes, big named rum, and even an exploration at many kinds of rum are all packed into this book. Those interested in documenting tasting notes of each rum will appreciate the tasting note sheets at the end of the book. Plus, the recipes sound terrific!

This is a quick, brief guide on all things bourbon, from its history to the distilling process to the most well known brands to the actual tasting. Readers also have the ability to record tasting notes in the back of the guide.

I appreciated the compact layout of the book, with the basic information needed to become a more informed bourbon enthusiast. The drink recipes included also sound very good. I think this is a perfect gift for anyone who wishes to start tasting and studying bourbon and wishes to have a better understanding of the variety of taste notes one can find in a drink.… (más)
