Alan Fisk

Escapist novel of Austalis, a barbarian from North of Hadrian's Wall, wishing to make his way into Britannia and there to make a life for himself. Deprived of wife-to-be through a technicality and devastated by smashing of all his dreams, he decides to take a horrendous revenge on the Romans and foments an uprising to drive them out of the country. He becomes envoy to different groups and gets them to work together. His plans go awry.

Enjoyable, but only barebones of history apparent. Far-fetched.… (más)
