The Beat Generation and the Angry Young Men por Gene Feldman
A seminal collection of beat writers. Included: The Beckoning Sea by George Mandel.
This anthology came out in 1958, and featured contemporary works as well as some criticism and commentary. The book includes 'Howl' in its entirety, and Carl Solomon's 'Report from the Asylum.' Also here are a Kenneth Rexroth essay, 'Disengagement: The Art of the Beat Generation' and Norman Mailer's infamous essay, 'The White Negro.' Not indexed.
