This is an original and readable approach to two of the greatest architects of the twentieth century. Etlin focuses on the the main principles of progressive architectural thought including the architectural system, the "picturesque", philosophy and culture. The importance of these principles to the work of Le Corbusier and Wright as well as others is demonstrated by the author in this compelling work.
