I made the mistake of seeing a production without adequately preparing myself. After seeing Ian McKellen play King Lear in a production recorded live by the National Theatre, I decided to read the translation. It was still helpful to me as I could remember how scenes looked, I definitely recommend using books from this series before venturing to the theatre, You can understand so much more of the plot.

While I was seeing this show, I was impressed with how long, how brutal, and how political it was. Very powerful.… (más)
