Born on Lackland Air Force Base in Texas, Anna grew up moving here, there, and everywhere thanks to her dad's job as an instructor pilot. She's lived in Texas (twice), Mississippi, California (twice), Michigan (twice), and Alaska—and now Ohio.

As for her writing, Anna has always made up stories in her head, but she didn’t write them down until her teen years. Those first awful books went into the trash can a few years later, though she learned a lot from those stories. Eventually, she would pen her first romance novel, the paranormal romance Willpower, and she’s never looked back since.

The Mortal Falls (Undercover Elementals #1) por Anna Durand

Cheesy unoriginal PnR fluff with repetitive writing especially within the smut.
It's just another "girl falls in love with immortal tortured soul who finds salvation in her".
This is fae-themed but the hero is technically not a fae.
To be fair there were some unique aspects to the FMC but it was drowned in formulaic writing.

Irresistible in a Kilt (Hot Scots #8) por Anna Durand

Not my first Anna Durand book but it was my first in the Hot Scots series. I just have to say, WOW. I absolutely loved it. My favorite part of this book was the hilarious inner dialog of Alex Thorne. I found myself laughing a lot. This man is part respected professional, part man with a painful past and part man-child. The comedy and inner pain were performed very well by Shane East, narrating as Alex Thorne. Catriona MacTaggart is voiced by Elle Newlands, a new to me narrator. She is one I will be happy to listen to again. Anna Durand did a great job of making these characters complicated, multi-layered people. The story also included lots of other characters from other books in the series, mostly other MacTaggarts. Although I had not listened to any of the books, I got a good idea of who they were too. I recommend this book to anyone that likes, hot British guys, feisty Scottish women and/or lots of sexy heat. As much as I liked this one, I will now go back and listen to the previous books in this series and any new ones that come out in the future.… (más)

Natural Satisfaction (Au Naturel Trilogy #3) por Anna Durand

Very enjoyable third installment to the Au Naturel series. It was really nice to get to know Heidi as more than the woman attempting to win back her ex in a previous book. I think Damian and Heidi were perfect for each other. She was still embarrassed about how she behaved the last time she and the kitten brigade were visiting the resort. Over the course of the visit, he really got her to open up and help her let go of the anxiety she had about being there.

I hope to see these characters in future books. The author does a great job crossing over with different series and I'd love to see more of that.… (más)

Devastating in a Kilt (Hot Scots #9)

Another great story in the Hot Scots series. I was very entertained by Autumn and Jack. Particularly with how irrational and grumpy Jack was and how Autumn handled him. My favorite part of the book was the interactions between these two and his family. The MacTaggarts are a huge family and they are loud and love nothing more than to get involved in everyone's business.

I recommend this book and all the others in the Hot Scots series
