The Story of You and Me: a love story por Pamela DuMond
I tried I really did but I just couldn't get into this book. I did not finish it.

Even if it talk about a quite serious and merciless illness, [b:The Story of You and Me|22610237|The Story of You and Me|Pamela DuMond|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1404208203s/22610237.jpg|26590368] is a sweet story with an intrinsic positivism and lightness.
Exactly for this reason, I liked but not loved this book.
It's difficult to explain, but it's like I didn't want to read about the 'awful' parts of the illness and, at the same time, I'd have liked to read more about Sophie's efforts in dealing with the same illness...
This is something I felt was missing in Sophie's story.
That's said, I really liked the parts focused on Sophie and Alejandro as a couple, even if their relationship is more on the love-at-first-sight side than I'd usually prefer.
Alejandro is, after all, the thing I liked the most in this story!!!
In the end, I'd like to thank the author for the chance of reading her book for free through Netgalley and I hope she appreciates my honest review of her work.… (más)

Did you ever watch (and love) The Princess Diaries? (I never read the books, but I did adore the movie)
This is kind of like this, only for an older audience and not quiet as interesting. And I don't really buy the premise. I don't believe that SOMEONE doesn't see that she's not the real princess and calls her out. There are too many idiotic incidents and she's a really bad actor. And the murder-mystery in the middle? Why?! Sorry, this book just didn't do it for me at all!
