Between the title and the subject matter I knew this was going to be a tough book to read.
Yes, it is a novel but much is based on fact.
This is such sad story, and such an even worse indictment of just how horrible the Mexican government and drug cartels behave against their own countrymen.
It nearly impossible to imagine a more screwed up country.
