To be considering this book, most likely either you or your partner has typed as an INTP - Either way you could get a lot out of this book. The writing is clear and packed with insight on every aspect of life, as its subtitle aptly suggests. If you haven't already, I'd recommend checking out Drenth's writing - read one or two of the introductory posts to the theory: http://personalityjunkie.com/typology-101/. Then have a quick look at his page on INTPs: http://personalityjunkie.com/the-intp/. Don't read too far - if the writing and type speaks to you, just go ahead and get the book, as it is basically a clean and ordered subset of the writing on the website - the parts most pertinent for the INTP.
