I enjoyed this book so much more than I thought I was going to. Finn and Beck were super hot and great for each other! I loved their open communication and how they pushed each other for happiness.
I think that this is the first romance book that I've read that had CNC and somnophilia, which was cool.
Alex is living with undiagnosed ADHD and has manic episodes where he feels like everything is spiraling. He doesn't have many friends and the only family he has is his grandmother.
Enter Kai. Alex immediately hated him due to his ex-girlfriend made out with him at a party in front of Alex.
When Alex feels out of control, he turns to his "app" to find a random person. He instantly starts a chat with Kai without knowing it was him. He helps him calm down among other things ;) Kai and Alex then end up having the same college class and have to be partners on a project. When Alex discovers that his online "app" friend is Kai, he panics but then quickly goes to Kai because he subconsciously already trusts him to take care of him during his spirals and when he is on edge.
Kai never once gave up on Alex, even though both of them thought the other wasn't going to stick around. Kai's family welcomed Alex with open arms and he definitely needed to feel that family connection that he had been missing out on.

Common people that struggle with ordinary jobs, with heavy baggage one of them, with fears and some low self-esteem the other; they have opposite temperaments, yet, although with some effort, they can support y communicate, they talk! So yeah, we have two adults here, two lovely grown-ups who find the love they deserve.
