- Barbara DeLeo’s first book, co-written with her best friend, was a story about beauty queens in space. She was eleven, and the sole, handwritten copy was lost years ago, much to everyone’s relief. It’s some small miracle that she kept the faith and is now living her dream of writing sparkling contemporary romance with unforgettable characters.
After completing degrees in Psychology and English then travelling the world, Barbara married her winemaker hero and had two sets of twins.
She still loves telling stories about finding love in all the wrong places, with not a beauty queen or spaceship in sight.

Last Chance Proposal (Entangled Bliss)
What would you do, if your son's grandparents tried to take your son away from you, because you were absent from his life for most of the years, and you are not considered capable at all of having a child on your own? Well, one of the leads from this truly wonderfully built romance novel, thinks things through and decides to give his crazy plan a chance. What's his crazy plan? To travel all the way to New Zealand with his son, to once again meet the one woman he really loved but decided to leave behind and move far away from her, because he wasn't sure enough he was worthy enough of her love. Anyway, as he finally meets her after all of those years of them being apart, he asks her to be his pretend wife for a year, so he can prove to the courts that he's capable of having a child, but this time with a potential mother by his son's side. She eventually agrees to his crazy plan, and thus the sparks that were once alive, are once again reborn, and the two leads are finally given back the chance at love. But shall they get rid of their differences, shall they both realize that they were always meant to be, shall his son bring them closer together and ignite that passion they've once shared with one another? I've got to say that as far as romance novels go, this is by far one of the best that I've read, for it offers every single thing any romance novel should offer, but especially that forgotten love that's been given a chance to live again between two people who have always loved each other.… (más)
The Wedding Wager was pure bliss. I received an ARC of this short story in exchange for an honest review. Ms Deleo lead her readers on a merry chase with this rival to romance novel. There is nothing sweeter than a romance built around weddings. Nick can be so adorably clueless but his heart is in the right place unless Erin is pushing his buttons. Erin has something to prove to herself and her family. Nick is a distraction she just doesn't need but his seductive aura appeals to her inner vixen. The heat is on with this sugary story of competition, compromise and love.… (más)
Four Weddings and a Fling is part of a series but can easily be read as a stand alone. The characters do flow from one book to another but the story is self contained in the one book.
Ari is one member of the Katsalos family that is not involved with his family's wedding hall. He's a jaded PI whose main job seems to be finding proof of cheating spouses. He's never felt like he was truthfully part of the family. Now, his parents are fighting & not giving the business the attention it needs so it is falling on him to step in & save it.
Grace Bennett is the wedding planner for the business. She has planned to leave & start up her own business offering wedding accessories & planning services. Somehow Ari convinced her to stay & help him run the business until his parents could decide what they wanted to do.
Sweet, optimistic Grace & tough, jaded Ari seem like a match that would never work. I really enjoyed the way the author had them bringing out the best in each other. The characters are realistic & full of life. Their interactions emphasis the sense of family & how family isn't always blood. I enjoyed this book & think those that like moderately steamy contemporary romances will too.… (más)

This is a fun, quick story with a great twist to the all familiar bucket list. The storyline is well written and light hearted with a few surprises thrown in to keep things interesting. The characters are easy to relate to and enjoyable. A sweet story for times when you don't want anything intense.
