I got this book from a friend of my parents as a child. The stories stuck in my head and I loved it. It's a fun to read book. It can get a little preachy but mostly it's just filled with morals and such. The Fishy Bank for Jesus, and the Nothing-Impossible Possum are still in my head today.

Summary: The poem I read out of this book was called patacake. I believe everybody knows this poem. It is a popular one. This poem is about a kid wants a baker to bake a cake as fast as he can. mark it with a letter. Now different versions of this poem uses whatever letter they want to but in this particular book they used the letter G for God and the kid said mark it with a G and put it in the oven for God and me.

Tags and subject headings would be God

My response: This poem I have never heard the version where they used God. I thought that was pretty awesome they used God. You don't see a lot of children's books now days that had the word God in it or even talk about religion.
