The subject of gender is enormously complex, and only becoming moreso as our understandings of gender are constantly evolving. This book treats the subject with the careful attention to detail that it deserves, and it contains lots of valuable and insightful information, though presented somewhat dryly and repetitively. One major topic that doesn't get a lot of attention here is the concept of non-binary or agender or gender-fluid identities, and what that means for how society interacts with these individuals. Maybe that deserves a second edition, or perhaps even a second book.… (más)
