Similarities may be found in Hindu and Quaker thought in many areas that transcend language, such as pure principle, the light, unity, silence, simplicity, and guidance.
Dart finds that the Hindu Upanishads express many insights in common with early Quakers. She cites many similarities between Hindu and Quaker thought, and finds that mystics in both traditions would recognize each other and find unity with each other. This is interesting material, but seems too superficial.
