Lindsey Vonn is a competitive downhill skier. She began winning awards by the age of 18 and has now won 59 World Cup races throughout her career. She never gives up and always pushes through any injuries because she is dedicated to the sport she loves. Lindsey was born on October 18, 1984 in St. Paul, Minnesota. She began racing by 7 years old and was competing internationally by the age of 11. Lindsey completed online course for High School in order to continue training and racing. By the age of 17 she was on the U.S. Ski Team. She eventually married by the year 2007 to Thomas Vonn, a former Olympic skier. By 2011, she lost the Overall World Cup Championship and lost her marriage but by 2012 came back stronger than ever.
