It is because he fell in love with Mrs.Wallis Simpson.
There are true love between them.

EdwardⅧ selected the way he lives as one man,not as a king ,even if his family dosen't accept him like that.
I think he is a good man,but I want him to worked as a king.
Maybe he can change the world!
I was impressed by his word 'You cannot buy happiness.And you cannot buy love.

Edward is the king of great Britain.So he is decided to get marry with women that country decide.
But women that he loves is usual person,and she has already get married with another person.

But both love each other,so they decided to elope.

This story is Edward and Simpson's story.

But, Church of England does not allow the marriage of the king and divorced women....

This story is very Emotional story.
I didn't know the story of Simpson and Edward.
So I was drawned in this story.

Prince Edward was born in 1894. He was love by people, but he felt lonely. When he was an adlut, he met a woman. Waillis was so beautiful and she made him happy. He loved her so much, but everyone disagreed their marrige.
When i read it, I could'nt stop reading. This story was so romantic. Ⅰ want those who like love story to read.
