Flashpoint is like The Matrix meets the Holy Spirit with the roller coaster action of an Indiana Jones movie. Written in first person film noir style, it pops from one paragraph to the next, taking the reader on a wild ride through a near future scenario where the One World government has taken control and "fundamentalists" of any religion are branded as terrorists. Since a "fundi" Christian really means one who believes the Bible and tries to follow God's teaching in it, Devout Christians find themselves either going Underground or going to "re-education" centers for brain washing. Brother and sister Dav and Jen Williams find themselves running from the "Peacekeepers" when their family's church is raided and carted off. Once in the bowels of the Underground, they are uploaded with mindware that connects them to the Holy Spirit in incredible ways. The phrase "let go and let God" takes on new significance.

This novel is fast paced, action packed, laced with humor, yet also laced with spiritual truth. It is the first in a series, but it ends in a satisfactory way. Yet it leaves the reader wanting more.
