Since this book is rather old (20 years) many of the restaurants are among the "late, lamented" - some gone for a long time, and some just shuttering recently. Some, thankfully, are still around. One of the greatest I have ever enjoyed was La Louisiane in San Antonio. Imagine enjoying the very finest Creole food in San Antonio!
