Very well written, and very well constructed, and interesting subject matter. However thinking back on it once I had finished I see it as a wet dream of an adolescent. Unlimited lovemaking with a beautiful girl and the narrator always being morally right so ultimately disappointing. While I was reading it I wondered why it felt like reading a book for children (not that I minded that as I read a lot of children's books)and I think that is why. Us feminists should probably steer clear as we can get a bit annoyed about this sort of thing, but it was his first book and he does write very well.… (más)
