Zoe Cormier

This is an interesting, thoroughly researched book. I am amazed by the breadth of the author's research and her understanding of detailed technical information. Although the trilogy of sex, drugs, and rock and roll sound like paean to the 1970s, Cormier does an excellent job of showing the remarkable linkages among the three. There is plenty to titillate you if that is your goal, but this is also a solid scholarly work.

I do think Cormier is a trifle anxious to portray some issues as settled when the evidence is still equivocal but for the most part the work seems to rest on a well-researched base.
