A good travel guide can help you plan a vacation; a great travel guide can inspire you to create a dream vacation in your imagination. This book falls into the latter category. With no plans to go on a hosteling vacation of Great Britain, I found myself marking pages and imagining myself staying in the hostels described. Of course much of the pricing and dining information will be outdated by now, but the essence of this guide is truly that of an excellent guidebook.
