This book is the traditional Snow White fairytale, but with a few differences. I would say this version of the story is harsher and less happy. Also Snow White is a bunny, the dwarfs are mice, and the evil stepmother/queen is a cat. The Queen tries multiple times to kill Snow White rather than just with a poisonous apple and some of the ways are very harsh and may not be younger child appropriate. Also the ending changes with it not having “a kiss from prince charming.” The central message of this story is do not let jealousy control your life, because it will not be a happy life for you. Also I believe another message in this story is, be kind and wholesome because it will be praised throughout everything and by everyone in your life.… (más)
