Mich hat das gut unterhalten. 3,5 Sterne aufgerundet.
Fran and Ken aren't your typical PIs. For one thing, they're both on the larger size and need to plug in every few days. The siblings specialize in finding parents for adoptees but end up embroiled in looking for an over-priced ukelele as they try to track down who murdered a client (after all, her retainer check had cleared before she was killed). This was fun to read and I hope that there's more to come in the Fran and Ken Stein series.!

Alison's ex follows their daughter to New Jersey and they figure out that he's running away from some trouble. Alison is not thrilled to have him locally, and tells him he has to leave in two days. With mobster-types looking for the swine, Paul the ghost working on some electric experiment, and a policewoman who refuses to entered the haunted house, Alison has hands full. Then one of the mobster-types ends up dead, and all hell breaks loose.
