It’s a well written biography.

Is my opinion higher or lower of Darwin after reading this?

It’s lower but I did learn some interesting things. I don’t think I had an opinion on Darwin the man one way or the other until I read this.

It is extremely thought provoking as an adult building a library, that a teacher of Darwin’s placed a book into his hand and said “ignore this part and just read the facts”. It makes me more determined to use care when evaluating books. I am aware this is a frivolous review of a serious subject but I suppose…
