*SPOILERS AHEAD*
I enjoyed watching this couple fall in love. They started out with very different feelings but slowly got more comfortable together and got to know each other again. I loved how fiercely they stood up for each other and tended to their needs without realizing it.
Tayla’s journey to self-love and self-care was so relatable, maybe not the quit your job, break up with your boyfriend and buy a fixer-upper part, but the overworked and unhappy part. She had to burn out to learn how to take care of herself and put her own needs and happiness at the forefront. That’s something a lot of us struggle with and seeing Tayla tackle was inspiring.
I did get a little frustrated watching her push Bennett away so often, but he understood her better than me and totally expected it and embraced. That just shows how perfect they are for each other.
I think Bennett has the swoony hero down pat, when he finished mowing her lawn and sent her to shower and relax, I was sold. Having someone take care of you because they care not because they don’t think you can do it is truly the hallmark of a healthy relationship. YOU GO GIRL.

The Sutherlands are like most any other family except they are wealthy. More money, more problems. Within this family lies mistrust, estrangement and turbulance but what I found encouraging is despite all the chaos when the chips were down they united to help their own. That's the definition of family. I can honestly say these characters are unlike any other but the authors all brought something to the table to make this anthology a magnificent find. This was short to the point. MC romance that was not suppose to happen. There was a bit of drama, action, sexy of course, and a connection between the two. Ardy wanted to get away for her small town where everything was the same. That day came when she least expected it. She became the nanny to the Dueling Devils MC president. She didn't expect more but that door opened and could not close. Demon had not intention of touching his live in nanny. Ardy's sweet nature and all around goodness appealed to him.… (más)

Ghosts of childhood haunt both Ruthie and Skull. If they are unable to face and deal with their pasts honestly and then share with one another their promising relationship will be lost.

At the beginning of the book Ruthie has not heard from Skull for some time and figures they have broken up. Skull does not agree and is willing to do what it takes to get Ruthie back. Flowers, gifts, a huge surprise and finally communication have them working on their relationship even though Ruthie’s family is totally against her being with Skull.

This story deals with family, psychological illness, caring, sharing and what is required to overcome the past while building a future. I found many typos in the copy of the ARC that I was given and hope they will be cleaned up in the final copy that is sold online. In spite of the editing mistakes the story was strong and an enjoyable read that was a standalone story not requiring the reading of the first three books in the series.
