This film is the biographical and historical account of the lives of the Ten Boom family. When Holland is attacked and taken over by Germany, the Ten Boom family was greatly affected, as was so many others by the Nazi regime. The Ten Boom family, including Papa (Arthur O'Connell), Betsie (Julie Harris), Corrie (Jeannette Clift), Willem (Robert Rietti), Peter (Paul Henley), and Kik (Richard Wren), make the decision to house Jews who are escaping persecution and death from the evil German occupation. Highly recommend.

They lost all to help their motherland, their fellow Hollanders, and those who couldn't help themselves in this cruel world they found themselves in. They worked with the disabled, hid young people subject to seizure for forced labor, assisted the underground, and hid the oppressed from harm. A bit preachy at points, it is still an entertaining and enlightening watch.… (más)
