An absolutely excellent book on the physical principles that determine the behavior of a motorcycle. It is written by a staff member at Aprilia and is suitable for every motorcycle enthusiast who wants a better understanding of motorcycle dynamics. The few equations in the book can be understood by anyone with a rudimentary high school math/physics background. If you have trouble with those, there are also plenty of pictures and drawings illustrating the principles. It won't teach you to tune a suspension, but it will give you a better appreciation of the technical aspects of motorcycle performance from a physics and engineering viewpoint.

If you are after something with a higher level of mathematical sophistication, then I would recommend Motorcycle Dynamics (http://www.librarything.com/work/5818390/book/92706936). Both books compliment each other nicely.… (más)
