This series is just a lot of fun. This beginning chapter book series introduces kids to the various gods and heroes of Olympus. It does it in such a way as to make them understandable and make it comedic. Demon whose full name is Pandemonium as is the son of Pan and it is his job to heal the various animals of Mount Olympus. This time it’s a dragon that has a bit of a tummy problem and literally stinks up the entire mountain. But fixing this dragons tummy problem is no small thing as Demon’s healing box is broken and there are other priorities to the gods which demons serves. My favorite part of this book and the series is the comedy. The god characters are so overdramatic, and Demon is the “I just want to do my job and not die type” of assistant. I’m only halfway through the series and I look forward to each new book.… (más)

This is just such a fun series. It’s similar to Percy Jackson but set for the beginning chapter set. I actually think it is a bit better than Percy even. The books follow Demon (short for Pandemonium). He has been made unwilling beastkeeper to Mount Olympus. In book 3 Demon is being lent out to Poisoden to care for his racers who have started losing their scales. But the sun good, and the water god decide to have a race to determine who has the fastest stables. And as you may be aware, the gods are not above cheating. And it is up to Demon to satisfy both gods, and not get sent to Hades in the process. A fun series for those who are reading Magic Tree House and want sometime a little better.
