This book took me far too long to finish....mostly because other books came in for me. Or I had deadlines. But this book resonates with me and had so many reminders that I need to do better about taking to heart.
As a new mom, I put so many pressures on myself. Unfounded pressures really. I don't live a gracelaced life as often as I should. I don't bathe myself in the words of the gospel as I should. I try to fix things in my own strength far too often (and I suck at it). This book is one that I need to read again and again (along with the Word) to speak truth over my life.
HIS grace is sufficient.
HIS love sustains
HIS approval matters
Anything else I am chasing will pale. I am to come just as I am and seek to be changed. Y'all, I encourage many to read this book!… (más)

First of all, this book is GORGEOUS! But more importantly I believe Ruth really tries to stay true to the Bible while speaking of experiences and walking through different seasons of life. It isn't as deep as I might've liked but it is still a beautiful way to add a little extra encouragement and reminders of who God is and who we are.
It’s my second time through this book and it was just as wonderful as the first time. This book is a balm for the soul; a place to stop and rest and meditate on God’s truths while also enjoying the beauty of the artwork in the book inspired by nature.
