Giff Cheshire

Pace Larrabee owns a ranch he has built from scratch. In the nearby badlands live nesters who sometimes steal a steer for food. His younger brother who is his foreman is an unhappy young man for he feels Pace doesn't trust him to do the job. Arliss, the woman Pace loves is his financial partner but won't commit to marriage.

When Pace is ambushed and wounded and later one of his riders is killed in the same manner, Pace starts fighting back and discovers Arliss' ex-husband is behind it. He also discovers he is attracted to the beautiful, wild daughter of one of the nesters who is most prominent in the hostility towards him.

Reasonably fast moving story with enough complications to keep it interesting.… (más)
