As one who, like Hawk Kidree, drifted into his life's work, I really connected with career counselor Bill Charland's description of the agony of coming to the realization that something's got to change--I need a different career path. Hawk's gradual embrace of the conclusion that the distasteful aspects of his work in public relations in mid-90's Denver required an exit mirrors my reluctant decision to seek a new outlet for my creative energies as I watched my profession devolve into unsavory practices.
