Dr. J.V. Cerney is currently President of Professional Research and a specialist in podiatric medicine and ;physical therapeutics. Dr. Cerney has served as a team doctor for professional athletic teams. Driector and Vice President of a computerized health organization called American Medical Diagnositc Centers and set up the first U.S.O. Foot Clinic in the world. He is the winner of a national first prize award for his research in skin disease and was commended by former President Eisenhower for his public work in physical fitness.

The author is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, the American College of Sports Medicine and an editor of various professional journals.

Acupuncture is discussed in detail - this book has in-depth illustrations galore. Many conditions for acupressure is discussed - from fatigue to enlarging the breasts to deafness to tonsillitis.

Ailments of the chest - asthma, bronchitis, heart problems ( angina pectoris, bradycardia, pericarditis ), influenza, and chest muscle spasm is an example - this is in chapter six. Discussed is causes of chest pain, sources, case studies, drawings, what points and techniques to use, etc.

A very frustrating read. The writing style and book layout was very dated, the illustrations were unclear and the book read more like a journal rather than a treatment prescription. There is probably very useful information in this book but it is so difficult to work through that it doesn't seem worth the effort. I'll look for my information elsewhere.
