The characters were brought alive by excellent writing. The plot was quirky, which added interest. The unusual aspects kept this as a story to be enjoyed but not taken to heart.

This was so much better than I expected. The title and cover almost made me skip this book in my collection of Must Love Pets 2. This was a wonderful romance with nicely developed characters and a decent story/mystery. The author clearly has a connection with horses, and while I didn't understand some of the horse lingo I never lacked enjoyment of the story.

Fun, romantic stories, all have pets centered in the stories, one barely had any animal interaction but it was still a good story. There are ghost stories, rescue stories, and even reincarnation. I enjoyed them all, some more than others, three I loved and plan to follow up with more books from those authors. This package deal was too good to pass up at 99 cents, I had to give it a go. Then to find out they are full length books, and well written ? Well now that was a deal plus. Don't miss this set. you will be happy you got it. I already purchased the second series halfway through this.

I really enjoyed most entries in this collection of novels.
The one I didn't like was the novella It's a Dog's Life - Dale Mayer. I bought this box as it was billed 'romances' and this is not a romance.
The ones I liked best were Girl with the Cat Tattoo by Theresa Weir (B), Christmas at Angel Lake by Edie Ramer (A), Groomed for Murder by Zoe Dawson (B), and Walk in Beauty by Barbara Samuel (A).
