I'm going middle of the road for this with 3 stars as I would 5 star some but tbh some I would 2 star.

I do not want to name names so will leave this as a general review. I have read every story in this anthology and I loved the concept, but some stories seemed edited, polished and finished and some didn't. They felt rushed, unedited and incomplete.

The concept and idea of Taking a Chance on love, drew me in and given the opportunity to arc read and overall I did enjoy the book.

These 17 authors all came together to raise funds for AIDS healthcare, so grab this as you might find a gem or a new author to read.

This review is for Abstract Love by Sara Dobie Bauer

This was an adorable short story. Enemies to lovers. Age gap. Office relationship. Well written with engaging characters. I love a grumpy bastard who softens once he finds loves. Lovely and enjoyable quick read.

This anthology was amazing. If I didn’t know that the authors had written outside their normal genres from the blurb, I never would’ve guessed. Each story is unique with captivating characters and rich worlds. The plots were engaging and well paced. I loved that each story had a little intro, which gave you an idea of what to expect in the following pages, making it easy to pick and choose what to read. There’s a little something for everyone in this, so don’t let the chance to grab this anthology pass you by!… (más)

This was a weird ass book.
I liked some of it and the series has potential, but overall, I feel like it was underdeveloped.

We have Yoshi, a 22-year-old assassin, who fucked up his 100th assignment, so as a punishment, his father gives him a seemingly easy order. He has to put away an English teacher, but they don't know who ordered the kill. And Yoshi senses something about the teacher that isn't quite right, so he goes investigating. What supposed to be an easy job, turns into a few-week-long trailing and spying and preparation for interrogation.

I had questions through the whole book, and eventually I got answers for most of them, but they weren't really believable. Sorry for being vague, but I don't want to spoil it.

You can expect a little torture, BDSM, Daddy/Boy scenes and a lot of confusion.
And just what the hell was with those lions?? Is this a spinoff from the author's other series? Coz that part was completely unbelievable, since this book isn't paranormal.

Anyway. I adored Connor however, sooo I just might read the next book, but I hope there will be more of a story there. You know, actual assassination and whatnot.
