Graeme Campbell (2) (1954–)

Sub-par thriller that see drifter musician Wade (Lee Montgomery) blowing into town and ending up caught into the middle of a murderous relationship between femme fatale, Rosalind (Susan Anspach), her violent, drunken husband, Dirk (Art Hindle) and sexy young waitress Liette (Olivia d'Abo). Writer Jess Ballard's story has shifting allegiances, betrayals and an explosive climax - none of which is even remotely convincing. Director Graeme Campbell tries and fails to spice things up with a couple of nightmare sequences and a few overly coy sex scenes. None of the performers look particularly comfortable in their roles with only Lee Montgomery looking as if he's bringing any form of enthusiasm or engagement to the film. This all adds up to a decidedly underwhelming "thriller".… (más)
