This one is a rather fast read. Not that there is anything wrong with it but I wish authors took some time to flesh out the story a little bit more.

Our main protagonist, The Suit, is a person his company asks for help in case of hostile take over (not unlike in Richard K. Morgan's "Market Forces") only this story is not set in the future but in the 1980's.

The Suit is loyal John wick like character, man haunted by his past (which I assume is Vietnam considering these are the 1980's) but loyal and ready to serve his company president.

And then tables turn, betrayal takes place and soon The Suit find himself hunted by opposition. Although I cannot lose the feeling that he might enjoy that approach more since he is not chasing anyone but they come to him.

Only if they fleshed out the story a little bit this would be a short, sweet action ride - now it is good action comic with several confusing panels (the one with the pistol magazine popping out.... I am still not sure if anatomy is OK in that page....).

If you like action comics give it a try. But be warned although 4 issues long this story is in essence very very short.

Seems like a fine adaptation of a book I haven’t read. The artwork is quite good, especially how it paces out Bond’s mental processes, though it leans a little heavy on photo references at times. If you weren’t aware, apparently Bond looks like Michael Fassbender!

As an adaption, I'd say this is quite good. Calero's art captures the atmosphere of a gritty spy world wonderfully, and Jensen's adaption of Fleming's novel is concise while still keeping Fleming's prose. As for the original story, "not my thing" is probably the best I can say about it. Bond is extremely sexist, even when he claims to love Vesper. The book is also littered with racist terms that aren't used anymore (at least, not used by anymore by people who don't want to use racist terms).
