So since I've become Batman-obsessed, I decided to read through a "behind-the-scenes" book for the latest movie. If you liked "The Dark Knight" and maybe wanted to relive parts of the movie, then you're in luck. The majority of the script (think 98%) is here in this book, along with pictures and artwork. The pictures that accompany the script are tiny, which is kind of a bummer. There are several sets of artwork and drawings for the movie at the beginning of the book, but the majority of them are related to Batman's technology and cityscapes... when there are so many cool characters (The Joker, Two-Face), why would you devote such a small amount of space to them and so much to the Batpod? It almost felt like the author was avoiding spoilers... but in a book that includes the script, that seems a little pointless. The section of actual behind-the-scenes descriptions, interviews, and artwork is very cool, but it's just a small taste of what you have to imagine is a huge amount of work. I'm glad I read through the book, and I'll probably spend some more time looking at pictures and contemplating seeing the movie again, but otherwise I don't think this is worth buying. Check it out from your library! :P… (más)
