This book is about only the historical Indians, not the "First Texans", the prehistoric Indians. There are no illustrations of their weapons, tools, or clothing but there is an organized format to discuss the historical Indian's versions of these items in about a paragreaph each.There are no maps anywhere of tribe distribution but usually a sentance to give the reader a roung idea where they occurred.

This text would be about right for sixth grade level kids.
