A victorian house in need of major work, a carpenter who lives with her grandmother to conserve both of their money, an intrusive pet parrot, and more, make this a great comfortable read. Sure, there is mystery and suspense and plot twists, but there is also lots of fun, from situations to dialog. No rehash of plot or spoilers, just a recommendation of a good read.

A fun cozy, complete with secret passages. I do hope this is not the only Danger Cove Renovation mystery.

Cute little romance novel. The main character, Diana, aka Queenie Baby by her family, is a struggling musician, working as a temp. She befriends her boss and falls for the owner. But she also still has the hots for her highschool boyfriend. So who will she end up with? And through some fraud and embezzling into the mix, makes for a quick and easy read.
