Another gem from the Shire Library. Well written and profusely illustrated, the story of Lines Brothers' Tri-ang Toys is all good but with a sad ending. Childhood over one hundred years from the 1870s to the 1970s is brought to life through the history of toys made by this leading firm, the successes interesting but almost more interesting the failures - what just didn't sell and why. Happy memories and an excellent book for collectors too.
