This is a Penny Whistle book which means it has lots of great ideas for kids and cute drawings throughout. Much less dated than their other books, this one offers great ideas for lunchboxes.
Just as great as all the other Penny Whistle books, this one has interesting and varied ideas for keeping kids occupied and happy when they are sick in bed. A useful too for any parent - and some of the ideas could apply to adults as well.
Great book as all the Penny Whistle books are. A little dated now that computers are available, but still a wonderful reference.

I don't, and frankly hate glitter. These parties sound like they would have been nightmares to child me who never met glue that didn't get all over her and heard other children's creations praised. No mention of champagne punch or even eggnog for the adults, so this wouldn't have flown in the 50's.
It has about as much truth as a carnival shill's spiel.… (más)
