Dannion Brinkley

Dannion Brinkley is a multiple NDEr (Near Death Experiencer). This is his first book which details his getting struck by lightning when he was on the telephone. The consequence of his visit to "the other side" was the download of information about the future, the ability to read minds, and the ability to touch a person and "see their story". He has used his gifts to serve the dying in hospice situations and to invent some helpful electronic devices.

The author recounts a near death experience after being struck by lightening and the profound changes in his life. He gains sixth sensory awareness and eventually goes on to help hospice patients. Knowing these events in advance will in no way diminish your reading of the book. It is full of enlightening and inspiring recollections. A very important book in my life.

This is one of the best. It tells the story of a man struck by lightning, and what he experienced while clinically dead. He tells you how he coped with the aftermath of this experience in a very down to earth way. This is a warts and all account of his life and death. This is one of those books that will capture you from the first page. I read this book about 13 years ago and several times since.

Imagine being struck by lightning, having a near death experience, and then coming back to live in a broken body. That's exactly what happened to this fella, and he's been made all the more stronger because of it. He reveals several prophecies that he was given while in heaven, some of which came true, and others that I could see possibly coming true at a later date. Overall, it was a fascinating read and one I highly recommend for others.
