I picked this book up recently out of curiosity. What I found out is that there is a history and a very natural feeling to understanding people's hands. There is the obvious lifeline type of thing, but this also goes into more. This is not for a novice I don't believe. This goes way in depth into understanding the nuances of what you see that makes a person them. It makes sense in a sense, everyone's fingerprints are unique to that individual, so why wouldn't the hand.

What I really liked about this was how clear the illustrations were. Figure 4.5 was the hand of Dr. Mandelbrod who is an athlete and sports coach, and if was like a fingerprinting of his hand. This was so cool. It was clear as if the paper was in front of you. Also the names and attention to detail in the information right down the fingers. An explanation for each type of crease and stuff like that. That's what I mean, this isn't for a novice, which I myself am. Full disclosure this is my first-hand reading type of book. Even with that, I was really able to enjoy it.

I would recommend this to anyone who has an interest in understanding another person better but checking out their hand.
