I liked this book fine, but I have to admit I am tired of boy monsters. Can't monsters be girls sometimes?[return][return]Anyway, otherwise a cute story about sock monsters, and friendship, and not patronizing your friends. [return][return]I admitted to my own 5yo that I find sock monsters to be more believable than many counterparts -- Santa, Easter Bunny, Jesus, Tooth Fairy .... My 5yo laughed disbelievingly but I swore that I see routine daily evidence of the sock monster.
