Dorothy Bouchier

This is an absolutely wonderful book of memoirs written by Princess Chichibu of Japan and translated by Dorothy Britton.

In it, the Princess describes growing up in the United States, the real story of how she met her husband, life during World War II, and tending to her husband's illness.

Throughout the book are poems written by the Princess, which greatly enhance this superb piece of literature.
