This is a handy reference book. I imagine it might be more useful or helpful if you are new to working with teens, as a lot of the ground covered is about how to approach teens specifically. The references are also quite useful, as many of the articles and things she cites are relatively easy to find. It was a bit of slog for me to get finished, even though it's a slim volume. Though I'm thinking that was partly because of the academic tone and partly that I'm very familiar with the subject matter already. Definitely worth a look if you're new to YA RA or if you're just looking for some helpful resources.… (más)
